Where family, friends & competition meet.

Toss shoes for ringers, fun and sport. Better yet, pitch in tournaments that make a difference for a cause.

Mission: “Pitch for a Cause” and highlight horseshoe pitching.

CA Horseshoes teaches kids to pitch shoes weekly and holds an annual raffle with the Slough Slingers to support kids.

Let’s showcase the art of “slinging shoes” for 6 points and have some fun.

Backyard slinging

Slinging shoes at a park? Slinging in a backyard? Slinging at a big tournament? It doesn’t matter, you’re not counting ringers - you’re there to hammer out the score in your favor while going for the win, every-time.

Backyard is about winning the championship, bragging rights, and taking the cash and prizes.

When you’re slinging backyard, expect loud music, maybe a band playing, or a dog or a child dashing across the court, or someone using the backboard to hold their cups while they pour shots. The atmosphere can be like an NFL game where the fans are doing all they can to distract you. Ringers and nerves of steel are needed to capture the win.
